Benezry, JonathanKansai international AirportAirport located 5 km from the shore in Osaka Bay (Japan) - construction completed in 1994.
Dantata, SanusiWembley StadiumOriginally constructed in 19th century, but now under reconstruction (in the hopes of supporting London's 2012 Olympic bid).
Dyer, HilaryAlaskan Way ViaductTwo-tiered roadway/seawall combination in the Seattle area that was originally constructed in 1950s - currently reconstruction plans are under consideration.
Edwards, CodyMackinac BridgeBridge spanning the Straits of Mackinac (Michigan) that was completed in 1957.
Elizondo, HazelKansai international AirportAirport located 5 km from the shore in Osaka Bay (Japan) - construction completed in 1994.
Ghniem, FarahJenin Refugee CampFollowing demolition (due to political conflict), a UN-led team faced the task of reconstructing this West Bank refugee camp.
Hopkins, ThomasConfederation BridgeBridge between Prince Edward island and New Brunswick (Canada) that was completed in 1997.
Lan, YunThree Gorges DamUnder construction in the Three Gorges Area of the Yangtze River (China), this dam is intended to provide electricity, ease of travel, and flood relief.
Loukaides, EvripidesRion-Antirion BridgeBridge between Peloponnese and NW Greece (across the Corinth Strait) completed in 2004.
Lukman, AndrewSecond Avenue SubwayAfter being "under consideration" for much of the 20th century, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority's (New York City) plan to construct a subway line along Manhattan's East Side has finally reached the preliminary engineering phase.
Maciejewski, JoshuaMackinac BridgeBridge spanning the Straits of Mackinac (Michigan) that was completed in 1957.
Montemayor, EduardoRion-Antirion BridgeBridge between Peloponnese and NW Greece (across the Corinth Strait) completed in 2004.
Sanie-Hay, YasminGolden Gate BridgeBridge connecting San Francisco with Marin County (California) that was completed in 1937.
Sarfati, AaronAlamodomeStadium in San Antonio, TX that was completed in 2003 and intended to host both sporting and convention events.
Ulzen-Appiah, AtoCarrier Dome (or a similar recreation-related facility)This Syracuse, NY sports facility was constructed in 1980 (first domed stadium in New England) and serves as the venue for various sports and entertainment events.
Vulin, AnteLong Island Park SystemStarted in the 1920s, the construction of a network of parks along Long Island was spearheaded by Robert Moses and is closely associated with the development of an expansive roadway network in the region.
Williams, MattMackinac BridgeBridge spanning the Straits of Mackinac (Michigan) that was completed in 1957.
Wozniak, ThaddeusChicago METRA extensionCurrently under consideration is a plan to extend Chicago's suburban rail to Milwaukee, thus creating the possibility for a connection between Chicago and the Milwaukee airport.
