Human Resources (HR), in partnership with all University of Alaska departments, employees, and regional human resource officers, is responsible for ensuring that Board of Regents' policy is carried out in the recruitment and retention of faculty & staff, health & retirement, benefits administration, employee & labor relations, compensation, training & development, workforce planning, equal employment opportunity, and affirmative action.
HR ensures that the relationship between the University of Alaska and its employees is respectful, fair, and consistently supportive of the overall mission of the University.
