Student Technology Support (formally START) provides students with services to enhance information technology knowledge and skills. Workshops, access to Web-based training, and one-on-one consultations are available to all students to support their technology learning needs. Student consultants and staff members also work with faculty members to provide specific course-related technology training through in-class work.
Student Technology Support works closely with the Help Desk to offer support for students. The Help Desk should be your first stop for all support needs related to computer malfunctions, errors, or general help. For help learning to use software for a specific task or assignment such as scanning, using digital media, or using Web 2.0 technologies, then contact Student Technology Support ([email protected]) or visit us in the Digital Media Lab during the hours listed below.
