Princeton U. president urges grads to strengthen public education system

Unequal access to an excellent education is the civil rights issue of our time, Princeton University President Shirley M. Tilghman declared yesterday during the school’s 2011 commencement ceremony, echoing sentiments that U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan has expressed.
