Wexner giving $100M to Ohio State

Limited Brands Inc. CEO Les Wexner is donating $100 million to Ohio State University, mostly to benefit the expansion of the OSU Medical Center, Columbus Business First reports.

The gift is the largest – by far – in university history. Wexner, also chairman of the university's board and a 1959 graduate, has asked fellow trustees to lead by example by soliciting donations.

The OSU Medical Center expansion, backed by a $2.5 billion fundraising campaign, had $22 million in hand, $14 million pledged....
