Fire that killed Eastern Michigan student called suspicious

A fire that killed a 22-year-old Eastern Michigan University student was one of four suspicious fires reported early Saturday near the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor.
Eastern Michigan in nearby Ypsilanti said Renden LeMasters of Dexter, a senior in its College of Technology, died following the Saturday house fire.

"He had a zest for life - he lived life to the absolute fullest in all of his 22 years," said his stepmother, Deanna Lemasters.

The fire started about 5:30 a.m. Saturday....
