Kentucky Becomes First College Basketball Team With 2,000 Wins

The University of Kentucky became the first school in college basketball history to post 2,000 wins with an 88-44 rout of Drexel.

DeMarcus Cousins led the Wildcats with 18 points and 13 rebounds last night at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky, while Patrick Patterson scored 18 points and John Wall had 16 points and seven assists.

Kentucky has a 2,000-635-1 record over 107 seasons. The University of North Carolina ranks second all-time with 1,992 victories, followed by the University of Kansas....
