Company donates $500,000 for Say Yes to Education scholarships

A local company has given a large donation to the Say Yes to Education scholarship fund, Say Yes announced at a New York City gala tonight.

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture has pledged $500,000 to the fund. The gift will be matched by part of the $5 million matching challenge grant local research company SRC Inc. announced in 2011.

The Raymour & Flanagan gift is the largest since that match was announced.

The company will also provide summer internships for Say Yes scholarship recipients.
