The Department of Physics and Astronomy in the Gupta College of Science at Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a teaching associate beginning Fall 2026.
Applicants must have a masters in physics with at least 18 graduate credits of coursework in physics, or a closely related field. The primary teaching responsibilities will be introductory physics lectures and labs for undergraduates in calculus-based physics and engineering science majors and algebra-based physics for biology, marine science, and pre-health science majors. Prior teaching experience is preferred and prior experience with research based interactive engagement teaching techniques will be given strong preference. All instruction is expected to be delivered in person, face to face, at the University campus.
