Job Description
The Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center (MAMC) is accepting resumes for an Administrative Specialist for the Workforce Development department.
The full-time position – based at MAMC in South Charleston WV – will provide administrative support for the workforce department with the collection of grant development activities including data collection, compilation, and analysis. Must have good written and oral communication skills; ability to use computer software packages.
Successful candidate will:
Provide assistance in coordination of special events or special projects in the office.
Provide assistance in purchasing.
Provide assistance with document review and editing, managing databases and participates in long-term planning.
Provide assistance in preparing required reports.
Coordinates daily workflow in the office.
Other duties as assigned.
Location OTHR - Other Off-Campus Location
Salary Range Commensurate with education and experience.
Required Qualifications
Education
Two years of post-secondary education in office management or related field
Experience
Two years’ experience of general office experience performing the full range of office support duties.
Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point
Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
Must have the ability to multi-task.
Preferred Qualifications
Education
Experience
Computer skills in database system such as Salesforce
Experience working with federal or state grants.
Additional years of experience may be substituted for post-secondary education.
