Position Purpose
The Director of HR Technology leads the strategic planning, implementation, and management of all HR technology systems and initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness and the employee experience. This role drives the optimization of HR processes through technology solutions, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and compliance requirements.
Description
We’re seeking a hands-on Director of HR Technology to lead and optimize our HR systems, driving improvements across the entire employee lifecycle. This role partners with HR, IT, Finance, and business leaders to develop a strategic HR technology roadmap and deliver practical, user-friendly solutions from onboarding and benefits to performance and analytics. Ideal candidates are experienced HRIS leaders ready for a new challenge, with a proven track record managing enterprise HR platforms, driving change, and translating complex needs into actionable technology strategies. Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum ten years of progressive experience in HR technology, HRIS, or HR analytics, including at least three to five years in a leadership role.
Demonstrated expertise with enterprise HR systems and proven experience leading complex, cross-functional technology projects from strategy through delivery.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical leaders.
Ability to work independently with a high degree of latitude, set priorities, and recommend strategic decisions that impact organizational objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in information systems, HR Management, or related field.
Hands-on experience with one or more leading HRIS platforms in large, complex, matrix organizations.
Certification(s) in project management (PMP, Agile/Scrum) and/or HR systems (Oracle, Workday, SuccessFactors) a plus.
Experience building and leading high-performing teams and mentoring cross-functional stakeholders.
