Position Purpose
The Office Manager and Assistant to the Director serves as part of a dynamic team whose mission is to educate Dartmouth students to be the leaders and changemakers of tomorrow. The Office Manager provides comprehensive, high-level support for the Center for Social Impact and its Director by managing day to day operations, finances, and donor stewardship through an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the department’s various programs and priorities.

Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
At least three years of increasingly responsible office experience in a related field with a high degree of autonomy.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage a broad array of tasks with a high degree of autonomy and outstanding attention to detail.
Strong understanding of financial reporting, processes, and systems orientation.
Excellent technology skills and fluency in computer applications including Microsoft suite.
Outstanding written and verbal communication.
Strong judgment in working with confidential information.
Demonstrated ability to work in a new environment with some degree of ambiguity.
Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse community.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance.
Experience working effectively within a complex organization and with diverse stakeholders.
Proven ability to serve as a resource and to delegate work.
The capability to work independently and collaboratively as a member of a team. Skill to interact with others with tact and diplomacy.
