    Major/Essential Functions

    Working with specialized software applications, maintain detailed records of all A/V and IT equipment checked in and out, and assist with the annual CoMC Inventory.
    Manage, communicate and oversee equipment checkout policies, procedures and consequences for all CoMC personnel and students, to include Key FOB checkout for building, and any other related items for checkout.
    Organize, schedule, maintain and clean audio/video equipment, Troubleshoot student video/audio equipment difficulties in coordination with IT staff.
    Demonstrate proficiency with and understanding of audio and video production software and work flow, with ability to train others in use of production equipment and protocols.
    Provides support for the College in hardware, software and maintenance, including, but not limited to, desktops, printers, lab equipment, A/V hardware, to include tracking and ensuring supply technology consumables for the college.
    Responsible for inventory and ordering of the college's print ink/toner cartridges.
    Coordinating between A/V and IT, troubleshoots hardware, software or system issues, escalating issues to superiors as necessary.
    Ability to follow and implement general and specific instructions and effectively communicate in verbal and written forms.
    Train, supervise, and manage work schedules for student assistants in AV checkout.
    Intermediate level analytical skills, including process description, logic, problem diagnostics and problem solving.
    Intermediate technology hardware and software competency. Skills in fundamental and advanced hardware and software. support through education or hands on experience.
    Educates CoMC end users and other support staff in effective use of multimedia equipment, software and presentations.
    Experience operating and maintaining Microsoft Windows PC’s and Apple Computers as well as common multimedia equipment – including but not limited to: video cameras, DSLR cameras, audio recorders and lighting equipment.

    Required Qualifications

    High school plus four years experience. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities, in addition to the required knowledge, skills and abilities:
    Intermediate level analytical skills, including process description, logic, problem diagnostics and problem solving.
    Intermediate technology hardware and software competency Skills in fundamental and advanced hardware and software support through education or hands on experience Educates CoMC end users and other support staff in effective use of multimedia equipment, software and presentations.
    Preferred Qualifications
    Qualifications in addition to the required qualifications.
    Experience operating and maintaining Microsoft Windows PC’s and Apple Computers as well as common multimedia
    equipment – including but not limited to: video cameras, DSLR cameras, audio recorders and lighting equipment.
