A postdoctoral research associate position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Angela Yu located in the Therapeutic Innovation Center (THINC), a center of excellence at BCM that seeks to discover fundamental mechanisms of gene control and to translate these discoveries into early therapeutic development. Our group aims to reveal mechanisms of RNA regulation during RNA synthesis and how these may be disrupted in disease, utilizing high-throughput experiments and machine learning. We are looking for a motivated, hard-working individual to join our team where they will be able to independently make important discoveries while working in a collaborative, dynamic environment.
