  • College of Music students can choose from a wide range of areas of study, including brass and percussion, composition, conducting, jazz studies, piano, music education, musicology/ethnomusicology, music theory, music therapy, strings, vocal arts, and woodwinds.

    The College of Music offers the following advanced degree programs:

    Master’s degrees (Master of Arts and Master of Music): collaborative piano, music composition, conducting (wind, choral, and orchestral), jazz studies, music education, music performance (brass, percussion, piano, strings, voice, and woodwinds), music theory, music therapy, musicology, and piano pedagogy

    Doctoral degrees (Doctor of Musical Arts and Doctor of Philosophy): composition, conducting (winds, choral, and orchestral), music education, and music performance (percussion, piano, strings, voice, brass, and woodwinds)
