Mission
The Student Health Center functions as a unit of the Department of Student Affairs and provides a program that is consistent with the philosophy, aims, and education objectives of the Department of Student Affairs and of the University.
All students are susceptible to physical and mental illness that may interrupt and delay their educational progress. The Student Health Program provides for the care and prevention of those health problems encountered by students.
The program provides a learning experience that will help students to assume responsibility and initiative in appraising their own health -- to become appreciative of good medical care and to seek assistance when needed.
The program of the Student Health Center will provide for the continuous improvement of health care, health promotion and health counseling.
