Many students choose to supplement their income while in college by maintaining a part-time job. Information regarding jobs on and off campus is available in the Student Development Office. This information may also be mentioned in The Charger Account (twice-weekly campus newsletter) and/or posted on the job board in the Student Development Office.
The College also employs students on campus in such areas as the library, administrative offices, dining hall and facilities/maintenance crew.
Some on-campus jobs are available only to students who qualify for federal work-study employment. The work-study program is a federally subsidized form of financial aid available to both married and single students, and requires eligible students to work on campus a certain number of hours each week. Check with the Financial Aid Office, located in the Administration Building, to find out if you are eligible.
Many work opportunities are available in the Atlanta area for those able to work off campus. Occasionally, employers and staffing agencies will visit campus to interview candidates for employment.
