A sign reading “Save East Campus Don’t Trust WMU” is sitting on the windowsill in Rodger Parzyck’s storefront and a petition with more than 80 signatures sits inside.

Parzyck, the owner of The Heritage Company on N. Edwards Street, says he was shocked when Western Michigan University announced in December the demolition plans for the historic East Campus on Prospect Hill.
