University of Utah President David Pershing kicked off The Great Red Road Trip on Monday with a visit to Dixie State College where he met with school administrators, residents and business owners as a way to introduce himself to the Southern Utah community.

Pershing was named the University of Utah president in January and is using The Great Red Road Trip as a way to travel the state to visit other college and university campuses as well as meet with community members, local legislators and business....
