Villanova Law School faces censure by ABA

Villanova Law School Dean John Gotanda knew one of his first tasks wouldn’t be easy or popular.

But he also knew it was necessary.

Gotanda, who became the law school’s dean in January, directed an internal investigation that found the school had reported false admissions data.

One of the results is the American Bar Association has censured the Villanova University Law School. The public censure must be posted on the websites of the Villanova Law School and the ABA’s Section on Legal Education....
