Lockdown ends at Eastfield College

MESQUITE — The campus of Eastfield College was on intruder lockdown Tuesday afternoon in response to a threatening call to the Dallas County Community College District school.

The entire campus of about 2,500 students and several hundred staffers was locked down after the call came in at 12:13 p.m. A school spokesperson said the threat was very descriptive and specific.

As a result, officials decided to lock down the campus. College and Mesquite police made a security sweep of all buildings....
