UMB president Perman's letter to staff on proposed merger with College Park

Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller proposed Monday merging the University of Maryland’s College Park and Baltimore campuses into an institution with more than 40,000 students and $1.1 billion in research funding.

University of Maryland, Baltimore President Dr. Jay Perman released the following letter to staff members on the idea:
