Texas A&M University-Texarkana saw growth after switching to A&M system

The Texas A&M University system plays host to 11 universities and, if proposed legislation goes through, Victoria will be, in Aggie parlance, the 12th man.

On Tuesday, Rep. Geanie Morrison filed legislation to move the University of Houston-Victoria to the Texas A&M University system.

But what is it like once a school switches over? A representative from Texas A&M University-Texarkana, which went through such a switch in recent years, offered input.
