University employee arrested in Indiana U. attack

A university employee identified as a suspect in one attack in a series on Jewish targets at Indiana University turned himself in to police.

Mark Zacharias, the scholarship coordinator of IU’s Hutton Honors College Scholarship, wanted on a charge of felony institutional criminal mischief, turned himself in on Dec. 17, according to reports. He was released after posting bond.

A university employee since 2003, Zacharias was suspended without pay on Dec. 9, The Associated Press reported.
