Andrew Shirvell Allowed Back On University Of Michigan Campus

Andrew Shirvell has been allowed back on the University of Michigan campus, but he faces restrictions.

Shirvell, the assistant Michigan attorney general under fire because of his verbal and written attacks on a U-M student leader, was banned from campus Sept. 14. He appealed the ban, which would have resulted in an arrest for trespassing. The ban was modified after he, his attorneys and Joe Piersante, deputy chief of the university's Department of Public Safety, met Friday.
