Gun shot heard at college campus

RIVERTON, Wyo. – A report came in today to the KVOW/KTAK newsroom that gun shots were heard firing on the Central Wyoming College campus in Riverton over the weekend. The incident is alleged to have happened around 1 a.m. Saturday near campus housing and is under investigation by the Riverton Police Department.

College officials said a confrontation developed between college students and non-students and included aggravated assault and property damage. A warning has been issued to students, teachers....
