Forbes names Troy best public college

Troy University was recently ranked as the best public college in Alabama and it has many students and administrators, including Chancellor Jack Hawkins Jr., quite pleased with the direction Troy University is heading.

'As I said when I came here 20 years ago, one of our greatest challenges is to take the bushel basket off the light to show what exists at Troy,' Hawkins said. 'It has taken a lot for this perception about Troy to exist.'
