Responsibilities
The DAIS Program Assistant will be responsible for supporting the academic, operational, and experiential components of the DAIS pilot program, including:
Coordinating day-to-day operations of the program as a project mentor in collaboration with faculty facilitators
Supporting student recruitment, application processes, onboarding, and cohort communication
Assisting with scheduling and logistics related to program activities, meetings, workshops, and sprint cycles
Serving as a primary point of contact for students, faculty, and campus partners involved in the program
Supporting coordination across multiple DAIS courses to ensure alignment with program goals and timelines
Assisting with program documentation, tracking milestones, and maintaining internal resources and records
Helping coordinate events, orientations, demos, and end-of-year showcases related to the pilot program
Supporting communication efforts related to the program, including informational materials and updates
Contributing to continuous improvement of program processes as the pilot evolves
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Project Management, Operations, Education Technology, or a closely related field
Demonstrated experience coordinating projects with multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and deliverables
Familiarity with project management concepts such as task tracking, timelines, dependencies, and iterative work cycles
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
Experience using digital tools for coordination and project tracking (e.g., task boards, shared documentation, calendars, or similar systems)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences
Interest in experiential learning, technology-driven programs, and student-centered innovation
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience serving in a project manager, program coordinator, scrum master, or operations-focused role
Familiarity with Agile or iterative project workflows, including sprint planning, stand-ups, or retrospectives
Comfort working alongside technical teams such as developers, analysts, or data-focused groups
Experience supporting software, data, or technology-based projects in an academic or professional setting
Ability to anticipate risks, blockers, and help teams maintain momentum
Experience coordinating across instructional, technical, and administrative contexts
Interest in building and refining processes during a pilot or early-stage program
