Job Summary
This position is for the Administrative Manager for the Central Staffing Resource Department. CSR is a centralized nursing department that provides supplemental staff to units, clinics and specialty areas. They are provided as needed to maintain safe and effective staffing levels to keep our units and clinics functioning effectively. CSR staffing resources are dispatched to more than 36 inpatient units, 150 outpatient clinics and 20 miscellaneous specialty areas. CSR employs both temporary and regular employees. This person reports to the Nursing Manager of CSR.
What You'll Do
Personnel Management
Responsible (directly or indirectly) for all subordinate staff activities related to human resource management (hiring, promotion, salary changes, performance coaching, disciplinary actions, training and development, ensuring consistent application of organizational policies, etc.)
Responsible for providing leadership and professional expertise
Daily Operations
Plan, organize, supervise and manage the administrative responsibilities of the CSR department, including scheduling, billing, payroll
Plan develop and implement department operational policies, procedures, methods and systems
Direct the evaluation of department activity and implementation of appropriate changes
Direct the allocation of space for the department
Fiscal Responsibility
Develop, manage and control department salary, commodity and capital equipment budget
Collaborate with Procurement Services to maintain competitive contracts for supplemental resources

Responsibilities*
Oversee CSR Clerical Services team, including the Nursing Clerical Services Supervisors and Inpatient Unit Clerks
Provide direct supervision to Nursing Clerical Services Supervisors
Oversee CSR Administrative Assistant (Main Office), Administrative Assistant (Payroll) support staff teams and Administrative Assistants (Cluster Support)
Plan, organize, and manage the administrative responsibilities of the Nursing Clerical Services and CSR Administrative Assistant support teams.

Required Qualifications*
Bachelor's degree in Health or Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, Ansos, MPathways, and Webscheduler
Desired Qualifications*
Master's degree in Health or Business Administration
Leading a clerical team
Previous experience in a 24 hour/7 day per week setting
Demonstrated knowledge of University and Hospital policies and procedures and internal contractual agreements
