Position Purpose
The Payroll Senior Accounting and NRA Analyst is responsible for accurate and timely accounting for payroll processing in a complex payroll environment, identifying and resolving reconciling items, and assisting with internal and external audit requests. This position is also responsible for managing foreign national nonresident alien (NRA) payroll taxation processes and administration of the Sprintax Calculus determination and reporting system.

Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp Bachelors plus 3-5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree.
Five years of payroll accounting support or other directly related experience in an academic setting.
Team/collaborative approach and customer service experience preferred.
Advanced problem solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including macros.
Able to manage multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong customer service and listening skills across a diverse population
Self-starter who takes initiative and exercises sound judgment
Familiarity with taxation of international students and employees or demonstrated ability to learn
Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse population
Preferred Qualifications
American Payroll Association certification preferred.
