Responsibilities
Lead a team of programmers and analysts in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining new software applications and systems designed to support youth transitions to employment and community participation
Plan, assign, and delegate tasks to team members, monitor project progress, and ensure deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards
Scope, design, and estimate programming projects, transforming functional requirements into detailed technical designs
Design, develop, modify, and document complex applications programs, writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, with an emphasis on a rich user experience and on accessibility
Analyze user requirements, define system specifications, and design logical data models
Provide technical expertise, conduct code reviews, and implement best practices for software development and project management
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
6 years of experience in software development and analysis
Proven experience in leading and managing teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with various programming languages and technologies
Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Lean, Scrum)
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in project management methodologies (e.g. PMP)
Experience with database design and administration
Experience with cloud computing technologies
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
