    Ready to showcase your administrative excellence? We are looking for a Program Associate to join our Education Support Services (ESS) Team and be part of a group that values organization, precision, and collaboration. Program Associates work with ESS Team members, Program Directors, and other cross-functional work groups to plan, deliver, and support professional development courses and programs. Primary responsibilities will include: ensure logistics and material needs for courses are met, work to resolve issues, maintain work unit templates, and assist with internal process documentation.

    InterPro (The Office of Interdisciplinary Professional Programs) is in the UW Madison, College of Engineering. Our mission is to advance the Wisconsin Idea by delivering professional education programs and learning services to individuals and organizations. We strive to offer a portfolio of professional education programs and services focused on the needs of engineers, managers, technical professionals and partner organizations, to guide them into the future.

    Responsibilities:
    Provides administrative support for a department, group of professionals, or to the manager of a work group consisting of professional staff and subordinate supervisors in support of unit goals, under general supervision
    30% Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operations
    20% Serves as a first point of contact for individuals and groups, provides basic organizational information via phone, in person and through other communication mediums, and routes more complex inquiries to the appropriate entities
    20% Collects, analyzes, and prepares various communication materials from established sources utilizing technology mediums
    15% Sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures under general supervision
    15% Maintains established methods and organizational systems directed at the maintenance of electronic/physical records related to work operations according to established policies and procedures
