About the Job
The Division of Hematology-Oncology provides a rich and cooperative environment for the care of children and adolescents with cancer and blood disease. The division has long-standing interests in the development and testing of new agents for both leukemias and solid tumors, including immune-based cellular therapies, and cancer survivorship. The University of Minnesota serves as a Pediatric Early Phase Clinical Trial Network Center within the Children's Oncology Group.
The division invites applications for an Academic track position, with a focus in clinical care and clinical/translational research, at the rank of Assistant Professor.
Applicants will be expected to participate in clinical trials, participate in clinical research and publish results in peer reviewed journals, in addition to caring for patients on the inpatient and outpatient units of the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital. Priority programs for the division at this time include solid-tumor oncology but qualified candidates with other interests in oncology and hematology are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications
Requirements include an M.D. degree, completion of a fellowship in pediatric hematology-oncology and board certification or board eligibility in the subspecialty.
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: $191,200; depending on education/qualifications/experience
Time Appointment: 75%-100% Appointment
