    The Department of Mathematics of the New York Institute of Technology is inviting applicants for a renewable full-time non-tenure-track teaching position, at the Assistant Professor level, in Mathematics.

    The initial appointment is for 2 years and begins September 2020. Responsibilities include teaching 21 credit hours for the academic year of undergraduate courses in Mathematics such as Pre-calculus, Calculus, as well as advanced courses as needed. Additional responsibilities include academic advising, curriculum development, and other services to the department and to the college.

    Applicants should hold a PhD in Mathematics and have prior teaching experience in an undergraduate academic setting.

    Projected start date is Fall 2020 with primary teaching responsibilities on the New York City Campus, with possible occasional teaching on the Long Island Campus as needed.
