how many times can you retake the TOEFL exam? I've heard for foreign students, taking it more than one time is more beneficial. It's more about getting used to the testing format.

If you do not study ahead of time for the exam, then of course, taking it more than once will benefit your score somewhat. one of the main reasons for poor scores is the lack of familarity with the format of the exam.

They have scheduled test dates and the exam is being offered in many colleges worldwide. You need to go to the TOEFL official website and check the test dates in your local area.
