It's a good idea to keep a jounal about your every day encounter as a teaching assistant. You can always go back and read the journal and realized what methods work well with students and what didn't work so well. What type of obstacles you have encountered and how do you go about resolving them? Rate your professors and write down observations on how they facilitate lectures, etc.
