The GRE exam, just like the GMAT exam is up for a revamp and revision with the new version rolling out around August of 2011. The new change will have a stronger emphasis on the reading section along with some new navigation functions.

Most of the standardized tests are going through some sort of change here and there in the next year or so. Let's wait and see if these changes are an attempt to boost prep classes and prep guides sales or is it trying to raise the bar on the standard because too many students are passing these tests with flying colors?
