How do financial aid office look at parents who are self-employed and have their own business, how do they determine elibility for grant, etc?

Usually with parents who are self-employed or own small businesses, the financial aid office is more lenient and flexible with working on your applications. So, don't worry if your concern about getting the aid. You might be surprised.
