  • How much will this help me for graduate school?         

If you are involved in some sort of research projects during the summer, all well does that weigh in with your gpa when you are going to apply for graduate studies of the same subject?

they will look at what you have done overall, so even if the research project wasn't weighted into the gpa, they can see what you've done.
