  • 50% of kids are not reading at their level

i've read an article the other day and it's saying approximately half of the kids now do not read at their expected level. why is that? is it because kids these days have too many distractions instead of picking up a book and read to pass time?

That's so true. If you think about it, having innovation is great and everything, but it does take away from the essential 'old school' pass time, so to speak, like the traditional reading etc. Children these days are into the technology, the TV shows, internet.

It's sad isn't it. The children are more visual learner, as in visually attached to TVs, instead of a book.
