Do the majority of the colleges take the highest scores from each section? Also, i wanted to know how exactly does Collegeboard send our scores to the colleges?

College Board sends your SAT I and SAT II scores of all tests that was request to be sent to the list of colleges. But it is up to the colleges individually to superscore your results.

It really depends on the universities. Some of them like to take the highest score from each section, while others do not. It's best to check with each school and find out for sure.

Each university has the own way of taking those SAT scores. If you are concerned if you are better on the math part than the english part, or vice versa, don't be. As you probably know, standadized test is what it is, it does not necessary project how successful you will be studying in college.
