  • Will the market be better by the time i get out of college?         

Do you think the economy will be better by the time i get out of college in 2 years? i'm just really concerned whether or not if i can find a job.

I think we are pretty close to the bottom of the recession and unemployment % s/b going down as we speak. Although it will be a long recovery and rebuilding process for the job market, there will still be industries that will continuously need people. Just look at oil and gas field for example, their companies are still hiring people. So it's not as depressing as it may seems.

Since you still have 2 years to go in college, i will suggest you take this opportunity to plant some seeds for your future. Try to go out there and get some work experience, perhaps something that relates to your field of studies. It's all about building that resume.

One would think that our economy and market has pretty much hit rock bottom at this pointo. So it should start to rebound soon and you have to understand it will not be an overnight quick fix and everything is inter-related to each other. One industry affects another and affects another, so we have to take it one step at a time. Once the ball starts to roll, then the econmony will be up and running like its old self. Be patience, stay focused with your study and the market will be ready for you when you graduate.
