I generally look at the GPA and if the candidate has been involved in school activities, for example, if the candidate is a member of any societies or clubs, sports team, etc. I would also look at if the candidate work during his/her time in college because that will be some indications that the candidate have the ability to work under pressure and have the ability to multi-task, etc.
