- No more assistantships after 5 years
Our department has told us that for graduate students who have studied for 5 years or longer in the graduate programs will no longer be offered graduate assistantships. It caused a lot of panic among graduate students, particularly for international students. I wonder if other graduate schools have the similar policy??
