For someone with interest in European Studies, and International Business, if given a choice to pick a second language from Franch, Danish and Spanish, which one will be better in terms of the difficulty to learn and the usefulness for international business?

Spanish may be better since it is the most used language after English in the United States. There are a lot of positions that require or prefer the candidate can speak Spanish.

I think Spanish is probably the best choice out of the three. Especially in the part of the US where oil and gas industries thrived, many of these companies have contract with South American countries, where their main language is Spanish. So, learning Spanish will open up more job opportunities later day the road.

It really depends on which part of the country you reside in. If you are in Canada or closer to the US-Canda border, French may be a better choice for you. I know a greater part of Canada has tons of French speaking people and i'm sure French will come in handy.

I think to speak generally for students of all backgrounds and from all over the nation. Spanish is probably the most used and popular. Then other languages like French, Chinese, Arabic,Japanese, Latin, and Russian are also popular for college students.
