  • Can Twitter be used for online teaching?

With Twitter, a microblog system, you can type a message with up to 140 characters and spaces per post (or per "tweet"). On April 1st, Nicholas Carr, the author of "Is Google Making Us Stupid?" posted a blog that University of Phoenix is going to offer courses via Twitter. It turns out to be unture.

“With the limited characters you can post on Twitter, this wouldn’t be a feasible platform for a robust and quality academic curriculum.” wrote Wendy Paul, executive director of public relations for the university.

What are your thoughts about this?

Well, it is good to ask short quick questions, at least...
