Without reading the article, i'm guessing companies are outsourcing???? How does that help US economy?

It's a vicious cycle, companies will go through this every decade where they ship a portion of the jobs off shore and bring them back in later. It's all a budget game. They lay off a bunch of people in US and rehire newer people 3 years later for cheaper price.
