For a 20 page research paper, how much research should you do and how many sources should you cite?

A 20-page research paper is a relatively long paper which requires tons of research. I would suggest you to go to the library and get a variety of articles, books from different sources. The best way is first jog down what you are writing for and which stand you are taking and then go look for supporting documents to back up your reasonings.
