Some people go overboard with AP exams and SAT tests. They take pretty much every possible AP exams there to take and pretty much all of the SAT subject tests. My advice is you have to pick your battle. If you are sure about your major, take the AP exams and SAT subject tests that relate closest to your education goal. Concentrate on those and score high on those exams, rather taking all of the exam and just making so-so grades.
