How does a Master of Law degree help you career wise if you are not going to be a lawyer?

Any continuing education will add to your resume. As far as master of law is concerned, you should consider taking the BAR exam for your state. If you have gone this far to get a master in law, might as well get the JD and eventually become a lawyer.

If you are not pursuing a law professions, a master of law can help you hold a higher rank in your job in places like risk and compliance.
